It all started when I knew "someone had to do something" about the cost of the spay/neuter procedure!! That person was me. Laurie d'Entremont. 

The first fundraiser was in my driveway!!! Then the journey went on and I end up meeting like minded people who always put the cats first!! We are currently growing into a great group of caring individuals who are doing our best to help our community. 

 

Mission:

To help spay and neuter cats within the community. Whether owned or stray. One Cat/kitten at a time!

My goal was to get one cat fixed. Now look what has been accomplished through friends and complete strangers coming together to help get control over the cat population.

 

Over 650 cats fixed through us as of Dec 2022!!

How we work.

If you are from Pictou County, NS and need assistance, just ask! Then you are added to our wait list. As funds become available we discuss which Vet you would like to use and we go from there.

*Owners pay $65.00 per female or $45.00 per male, directly to the Vet we discuss on the day of the procedure. (Extras like, parasite treatments are theirs to cover as well) *

**ATTENTION!!! Pictou County, Nova Scotia is now in a VET CRISIS!!! Which means we have new rules to follow.

#1 You MUST be a current resident of Pictou County, Nova Scotia

#2 You MUST be a current client of the Vet you wish to use
